About the Role As an Operations Manager in Juneau, AK, you'll lead a high-performing team and oversee daily operations, safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction for the Junea, Sitka, and Ketchikan sites. This is a strategic leadership role with a clear path to higher-level management. What You'll Do Lead and supervise work crews operating solid waste collection equipment across three sites with availability to travel frequently between sites. Monitor daily operations and adjust staffing or assignments as needed. Partner with the District Manager to manage budgets and P&L performance. Develop and mentor frontline supervisors and build a strong leadership pipeline. Conduct field inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence. Address customer concerns and ensure high service standards. Oversee compliance with environmental, OSHA, and local permitting regulations. Set and execute short- and long-term operational goals. Champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement What You Bring Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. 5+ years of leadership experience in a dynamic, people-driven environment. Experience in waste services, logistics, or heavy equipment operations is a plus. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems.
