Second Shift (3pm - 11:30pm) Overview We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Supervisor to provide day‑to‑day leadership for sterile processing and instrument delivery operations. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient sterilization processes while supporting staff performance, education, and cross‑departmental coordination. Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities Oversee daily sterile processing and instrument delivery operations Direct all aspects of on‑site sterilization processes and quality controls Ensure sterilization efficacy testing meets all regulatory standards Support and assist departmental work processes as needed Coordinate daily staffing and coverage requirements Partner with leadership on hiring, coaching, performance counseling, and employee relations Promote a safe, cost‑effective environment for packaging, sterilization, transport, and storage of instruments Collaborate with educators to support ongoing staff education and competency Communicate effectively across departments to support surgical and clinical operations Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Take a proactive approach to identifying and preventing operational issues
Qualifications:
Qualifications Education:
Associate degree required Four (4) years of directly related experience may substitute for degree
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of sterile processing experience Demonstrated working knowledge of sterile processing operations Certification (one required): CRCST (HSPA) CHL (IAHCSMM) CSPDT (CBSPD) CSPDM (CBSPD) CSPM (CBSPD) What We're Looking For Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to remain professional in high‑stress environments Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
