Job Description

Dock Operations Manager This job will have the following responsibilities: Site lead, responsible for overseeing operations, maintenance and ensuring the site is operated in a safe manner, in compliance with customer contractual requirements, and applicable local, state and federal regulations Responsible for direct interface with customers, vendors, regulatory agencies and other third parties Financial management of site operations (P&L, Expense Management, and Capital Investment) Continuous improvement and revenue growth Managing a team of around 50 to 60 direct reports Handle all incoming and outgoing port activity on the
Mississippi River Qualifications & Requirements:
4+ years of operations management experience in the steel (mill and scrap operations), aggregate, construction or other related industries Must have experience with preventive maintenance programs and procedures, and industrial safety programs Experience working in and leading a maintenance department is preferred, to include knowledge of heavy equipment operations Knowledgeable in the use of computer software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Email, Excel, Word, etc.) #JDP
