Full Job Description Position Summary:
Manage overall operations for the effective and successful management of production team members, quality, safety and ultimately customer satisfaction. Enhance business processes and continuously improve operational efficiency to meet output goals and operate profitably. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company's policies and applicable laws.
Essential Functions:
Top 3-5 essential functions and percentage of time spent on each. 1. Manage production schedules and workflows and staffing so that products meet specifications and on-time delivery to achieve total customer satisfaction. (40%) 2. Manage team members including interviewing, selection and hiring; training new employees on procedures and safety; directing the work, managing performance and recognizing great performance to provide a positive work environment for all. (40%) 3. Maintain budget cost effectiveness and contribute to monthly profit/loss. (20%)
Education/Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in manufacturing, management, engineering Demonstrated success managing a production floor and budget Experience in wood or plastic product manufacturing a plus Personal attributes of positive communicator and people manager, initiative, continuous improvement mindset and efficiency-focus desired Microsoft Office suite skills (excel) preferred
