Job Description
About SAS:
SAS specializes in aircraft and turbine engine inspection, maintenance, and support services for customers around the world. Our inspection teams frequently travel internationally and domestically to support aviation operations, while our office and shop operations are based in Marana, Arizona. As our company continues to grow, we are looking to add another highly organized and dependable team member to support our office and operational workflows. This position will work closely with our existing office staff and leadership team to help coordinate daily administrative operations, customer communication, purchasing, invoicing, and scheduling support.Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable individual who can help support the day-to-day operations of our business. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who communicates professionally, follows through consistently, and can manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision. Because many of our field teams travel frequently, reliability, punctuality, and strong organizational skills are extremely important for this role. No aviation experience is required, but attention to detail is imperative.Responsibilities:
Assist with customer emails and phone communication Coordinate schedules and office activities between employees and customers Assist with purchase order generation and vendor coordination Support invoicing and billing processes using QuickBooks or other platforms Maintain organized job records and office documentation Review and organize vendor invoices and related paperwork Support daily office and administrative operations Complete management-requested tasks and follow through on assignments Help maintain a professional and organized office environment Maintain consistent and punctual attendanceQualifications Required:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Reliable attendance and punctuality Experience with Microsoft Office products Experience with QuickBooks or similar softwarePreferred:
Previous experience in office administration, operations coordination, or customer support Experience in aviation, maintenance, manufacturing, or technical service industries is a plus, but not required We are looking for someone who: Takes ownership of responsibilities Is dependable and highly organized Communicates professionally with customers and team members Thrives in a fast-paced environment Has strong follow-through and attention to detail This is not simply a front-desk or receptionist position. This role is an important part of supporting the operational workflow of the business.
