Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Field Service Operations Manager to lead our field service and operations teams and drive operational excellence across multiple locations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of field service activities, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing business opportunities, optimizing processes, and managing profit and loss responsibilities to support the company's growth objectives. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Duties Lead and manage a team of field service technicians and plant employees, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching and development. Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate service technicians. Plan daily service calls, manage preventative maintenance schedules, and coordinate emergency after-hours service. Provide technical expertise, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide technicians in the field. Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery, improve operational workflows, and expand business opportunities. Oversee project management activities related to service installations, repairs, and maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion within budget. Drive process improvements by analyzing operational data, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing innovative solutions. Act as primary contact for clients, resolve service complaints, and provide status updates on repairs and startups. Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements across all field operations. Maintain and manage inventory of spare parts and ensure company vehicle and tool maintenance. Track service/start-up reports, ensure adherence to SOPs, and report on service/quality issues. Qualifications 5+ years of HVAC/Refrigeration Service Management experience, with strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration, specifically ice machines. Deep understanding of electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems. Proven ability to manage, train, and mentor a team of technicians. Exceptional customer service, communication, and organizational skills. EPA certification is typically required. Proficiency in MS Office, scheduling software, and reporting tools. Performance Metrics Service response time and repair efficiency. Customer satisfaction and retention. Technician productivity and safety compliance. Service department profitability.
Pay:
