Service Leadership:
Proven ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a team of human services professionals. 16.Strategic Communication:
Ability to effectively communicate policies and procedural changes to staff, volunteers, donors, and clients. 17.Expert Technical Experience:
Comprehensive knowledge of local community resources and total mastery of all required data platforms and reporting systems. 18.Decision Making:
Superior ability to make sound ethical and practical decisions under pressure that affect both clients and program function. 19.Working Under Pressure:
Critical ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor, taking immediate action in crisis or high-demand operational situations. 20.Advanced Technical Experience:
Advanced experience in data entry, reporting, and navigating external agency platforms such as CenCal andHMIS. 21.
Problem Solving:
Demonstrated ability to resolve complex client issues involving multiple agencies and systemic challenges. 22.De-escalation Skills:
Mastery in the use of de-escalation skills and a trauma-informed care approach. 23.Attitude:
Demonstrate a professional and flexible demeanor, and the ability to work as a team player. 24. Intermediate knowledge of Office Suite, including WORD, EXCEL, and PowerPoint. 25. Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus. $0.50 bilingual pay differential is provided.- Certificates, Licenses Registrtaions
- Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
- Must have a reliable vehicle, clean driving record, and proof of insurance.
- Must be willing to travel throughout San Luis Obispo County.
- Education and/or Experience College degree, or two/plus years' experience in a similar role. Experience and knowledge of homeless services resources. 5 years' experience working for a non-profit, or a similar work environment. 5 years' experience managing a team of 8 or more people.
