In person Position Summary Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, the Medical Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the administrative and operational functions of the medical clinic. This role ensures efficient clinic operations, financial productivity, regulatory compliance, and positive patient and provider relations. The Medical Office Manager is responsible for the overall success of the clinic and ensuring that organizational goals and objectives are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical clinic to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. Manage the administrative operations of the clinic. Ensure efficient patient flow and overall clinic productivity. Develop and implement strategies to improve clinic growth and performance. Supervise and support front office and back office staff. Ensure patients are processed efficiently and receive excellent customer service. Resolve patient complaints and grievances in accordance with company policies. Monitor clinic productivity, financial performance, and accounts receivable. Monitor new patient enrollment and support patient retention efforts. Identify opportunities to collaborate with community organizations to promote clinic services. Ensure the clinic and medical records are audit-ready at all times. Develop, implement, and maintain clinic policies, procedures, and protocols. Communicate policy and procedural updates to clinic staff, providers, and management. Attend management, staff, quality assurance, and other required meetings. Oversee patient billing and certification processes. Assist with the development and implementation of special projects. Maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and company information. Train and onboard new clinic staff. Review, approve, and submit employee timesheets for payroll. Build and maintain relationships with community-based organizations and resources. Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment. Ensure timely follow-up on operational issues and initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned by senior management. Qualifications Minimum of 2-3 years of medical clinic management experience. Minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience. Strong knowledge of medical office operations, regulatory compliance, and staff management. Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted for education. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. This position is ideal for an experienced healthcare leader who is organized, dependable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care while maintaining efficient clinic operations.
Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
