Operations Supervisor - Second Shift
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Brea, California Direct Hire Jun 2, 2026 $78,000.00
SALARY:
$78-$92K Summary Will provide critical leadership coverage as we continue expanding second?shift operations. One Supervisor will primarily oversee Surface Mount Technology (SMT) operations, while the second Supervisor will oversee the remaining production areas, including Building 2, ensuring both facilities receive consistent guidance, support, and oversight. Responsibilities of the
Operations Supervisor:
Lead daily operations — Supervise second?shift production activities, ensuring quality, throughput, and schedule adherence across assigned areas. Provide people leadership — Coach, mentor, and develop team members; conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, and corrective actions when needed. Ensure safety compliance — Maintain a safe work environment, respond to safety concerns, and support building closure and end?of?shift safety checks at 11 p.m. Manage staffing and timekeeping — Approve timecards, time?off requests, and schedule adjustments in alignment with company policies. Monitor KPIs — Track productivity, quality, attendance, and other performance metrics; implement improvement plans as needed. Resolve escalations — Serve as the point of contact for operational issues, customer concerns, and cross?department coordination. Drive continuous improvement — Identify workflow, process, and efficiency opportunities to support operational excellence. Qualifications of the
Operations Supervisor:
2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably PCBA or electronics. Strong leadership and diplomacy — Ability to motivate teams, manage conflict, and handle sensitive personnel matters with professionalism. Safety?focused mindset — Experience enforcing safety protocols and supporting facility safety practices. KPI?driven decision?making — Ability to interpret performance data and take action to improve results. Excellent communication skills — Clear, consistent communication across teams, shifts, and departments. Proficiency with operational systems — including experience using ADP or other HRIS platforms for timekeeping, employee management, and reporting (preferred). Ability to lead in a fast?paced environment while maintaining a positive, inclusive team culture.
