POSITION SUMMARY

The Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting company-wide field operations while working closely with the Chief Operations Officer to ensure quality workmanship, operational efficiency, technical accountability, and exceptional customer service. This is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for the day-to-day oversight, support, coaching, and accountability of field technicians. The Field Operations Manager serves as the primary operational resource for technicians, driving accountability, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and assistance with complex field situations. This role also ensures technicians have the resources and direction necessary to successfully and safely complete their work. The position is responsible for customer remediation, escalated field issues, and implementation of systems and processes that improve field performance. While this is a hands-on position and the Field Operations Manager may assist with complex plumbing work, the primary responsibility of the position is to lead and support the field team rather than perform technical plumbing work. Working under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer, the Field Operations Manager will support quality assurance, field performance management, and operational process implementation.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Travel to active jobsites for both our Chico and Redding branch to provide field support and oversight to 10 plumbing technicians and 4 apprentices Oversee daily operations involving residential and commercial plumbing repairs and installation Provide coaching, guidance, and accountability to field personnel Assist with problem-solving and identify practical solutions Respond to escalated technical, installation, and field performance issues Support technicians in maintaining timelines and ensuring successful job completion Assign plumbing apprentices to appropriate jobs Coordinate with dispatch regarding field support needs Support safe and compliant jobsite operations Maintain and enforce company installation and quality standards Conduct field quality assurance and identify opportunities for improvement Support customer remediation and resolution when escalated Assist the Chief Operations Officer with implementation of operational systems Support consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and operational standards across all field locations (Chico & Redding)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 7 years of professional plumbing field experience required Journeyman-level plumber experience required Applicable plumbing licenses preferred Extensive experience with residential and/or commercial plumbing installation work Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot plumbing systems and installation challenges Experience providing technical guidance and support to other plumbers Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

LEADERSHIP EXPECTATION

The Field Operations Manager is expected to lead by example in the field. This position is responsible for demonstrating professionalism, technical competence, safe work practices, accountability, and a commitment to completing quality work.

PHYSICAL & FIELD REQUIREMENTS

The Install Supervisor must be able to: Travel regularly throughout the company's service area in Chico and Redding Perform hands-on plumbing guidance and installation support Troubleshoot complex field conditions and installation challenges Work in varying weather conditions and jobsite environments Work in confined spaces, trenches, crawlspaces, attics, and other jobsite environments when required Communicate effectively with field teams, dispatch, and management Maintain a professional attitude and represent Accurate Plumbing appropriately at all times

Pay:

$80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
