Hour Construction Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our team of Onsite Medical Partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medical services, leadership, and construction health and safety. As the Operations Supervisor, you will oversee a team of EMTs and paramedics, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance with regulations, and the effective delivery of health services across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Supervise and support a team of EMTs and paramedics, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and provide feedback, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to enhance team morale and productivity. Manage team schedules, assignments, and rotations to ensure adequate coverage at all sites. Conduct orientation sessions to train new employees on company policies, procedures, and job responsibilities.
Operational Oversight:
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Onsite Medical Partners to ensure high standards of care and service delivery. Ensure compliance with company protocols and policies along with industry best practices. Ensure all medical equipment and supplies are properly maintained and available. Conduct regular site visits to monitor compliance with safety standards, assess medical needs, and provide boots-on-the-ground support.
Emergency Response and Medical Care:
Provide guidance and support to the team in responding to medical emergencies and administering first aid or advanced care as required. Review and manage incident reports, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up.
Other Duties:
Perform all duties of the onsite medical partner and work vacant shifts as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Conditions of Employment:
Certified EMT or paramedic with current licensure and certifications required . Active BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification required. OSHA 30-Construction certificate required. Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and clients at all levels required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to priority tasks in a fast-paced environment required. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick, effective decisions in high-pressure situations required. Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; must be able to regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. Valid driver's license and ability to travel. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Experience in occupational health services, particularly in the construction industry preferred. In-depth knowledge of construction site health and safety practices and regulations preferred. Bachelor's degree in health services, emergency management, or a related field strongly preferred.
