Cafe Lead (Operations & Guest Experience)

Schedule:

Monday-Saturday 6-hour shifts (consistent weekly schedule)

Job Description:

Floe Cafe is looking for a dependable and proactive Cafe Lead to help oversee daily operations and maintain a high standard of service, quality, and overall cafe flow. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on three key areas: guest experience, operations, and product quality . You will work closely with the team to ensure consistency in drinks, strong customer interactions, and a clean, well-maintained environment. We are looking for someone who naturally takes initiative, stays aware of their surroundings, and steps in where needed without being asked.

Responsibilities may include:

Guest Experience (Hospitality) Build relationships with regular customers Set the tone for friendly and efficient service Handle customer concerns in a calm and professional manner Operations & Workflow Oversee daily cafe flow and support the team during rushes Ensure smooth shift transitions and communication Maintain an organized and efficient workspace Quality Control Ensure drink consistency, presentation, and accuracy Train and guide new baristas on recipes and workflow Uphold cafe standards across all shifts Maintenance & Cleanliness Maintain cleanliness of both front and back of house Ensure the cafe is always presentable and well-kept Identify and communicate any maintenance issues

Qualifications:

Previous barista or cafe experience required Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment Good communication and problem-solving skills Must be reliable with consistent availability (Mon-Sat)
