The International Operations Supervisor is responsible for supporting the BTX business unit operations, customer service, compliance, SOPs and KPIs. This position reports to the Station Manager and will be responsible for hands on operations and pricing of Exports Air/Ocean. BTX is seeking a driven and dynamic individual who can manage the demands of global exports but also possesses the leadership and communication skills required to effectively interact directly with clients as well as BTX sales and operations personnel; The International Operations Supervisor will be a key member of the BTX team.

Duties Include:

Provide best-in-class customer service through professionalism, empathy, and forward thinking, particularly during challenging situations Act as the first escalation point for operations issues, resolving them efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships Partner cross-functionally with sales, accounting, and corporate compliance to ensure alignment between customer expectations and operational delivery. Supervise and support a team of operators and assign work strategically based on individual strengths, capacity, and development opportunities Foster a "can-do" attitude and team culture—championing proactive problem-solving, accountability, and a willingness to go the extra mile for customers Build and maintain strategic partnerships with global and domestic agents to secure competitive pricing, creative solutions, and reliable service options Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, identify strengths and improvement opportunities, and drive process efficiencies based on KPI analysis Maintain compliance with TSA, FMC, and BTX corporate standards for all operational processes Develop creative, customer-focused solutions that enhance service delivery and internal efficiency Coordinate and oversee Air/Ocean Export shipments A to Z, including creation, amendments, and milestone updates, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely communication throughout the shipment life cycle Negotiate competitive and customized pricing solutions to meet complex client requirements while protecting company margins Fulfill specialized client requests and inquiries within expected KPI timeframes Carefully document detailed SOPs that outline process flow and account for individual customer nuance and pricing structures Maintain strong relationships with importers, exporters, and agents while staying informed on key shipper lanes and trade dynamics

Summary of Desired Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience within the Air/Ocean Export freight forwarding or logistics transportation sector. Import experience would be a plus. Undergraduate degree in business or a related discipline is highly preferred, however, relevant work experience will also be considered Strong computer proficiency and analytical skills Comprehensive knowledge of import/export process flows and regulatory requirements
