OPERATIONS MANAGER - HAYWARD, CALIFORNIA E. B.
Bradley Co. is seeking an Operations Manager for our Hayward, California location.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Manager directs and coordinates all activities and overall functions of the Branch operations in accordance with the policies and practices of the organization. The Operations Manager role is to deliver outstanding customer service to the customer and the team, while achieving optimum efficiency, maximum profits and reflecting the values of the company brand.

Full-time Exempt Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Annual Base Salary of $95,000 to $115,000 Bonus Eligible.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Recruits, interviews, hire, and trains new staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Develops strong, professional relationships with customers, vendors, and manufacturers and ensures the highest level of customer service is provided by all Associates.
  • Coordinates with the Accounting Department for processing payment of bills/invoices.
  • Works closely with the Sales and Marketing Departments in promoting products and growing business.
  • Runs and verifies numerous daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management reports as required/directed.
  • Manages, revises, implements and maintains Branch processes and/or procedures for optimum performance.
  • Monitors and maintains all fleet and equipment ensuring optimum operation and safety.
  • Monitors, adjusts, implements and manages controls and activities in distribution, production, and warehouse.
  • Partners with Human Resources team to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to employment, labor, safety, and employee grievances. Assists with the recruitment and selection of new Associates in coordination with the Human Resources team through identifying staffing needs and conducting interviews.
  • Contributes to identifying/researching new methods, systems, and/or tools to improve processes, procedures and performance.
  • Monitors inter-departmental activities and relationships and ensure professional, open lines of communication among all Associates at all levels.
  • Acts as back up in the Branch when Associates are absent to ensure smooth and continuous operations. Operation of forklift and other warehouse equipment.
  • Works with IT Department on all telephone, computer, software and program changes or issues.
  • Assists other Department Managers and Associates on special projects or tasks as directed by the President and/or VP of Operations.
  • Oversees and manages the overall bottom line Branch profit and loss responsibilities, and KPIs.
  • Supervises and guides all Associates within the Branch and ensures company policies and procedures and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-10 years operation management experience in a production/distribution environment.
  • Advanced working knowledge of manufacturing and/or distribution process.
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
COMPENSATION
  • $95,000 to $1155,000 Annual Base Salary
  • Commission
  • Bonus Eligible.
