Full Job Description Job Functions:
Report to COO of the company. Responsible for directing, implementing, and maintaining processes of assembling, certifying and calibrating at least one of our following optical and electrical test and measurement instrument product lines: Spectroradiometers, Goniophotometers, Illuminance Meters, Photometers, Digital Power Meters, Power Supplies, EMC Generators, and EMC testers, etc.. Establish partner relationship with domestic and overseas supply chain to improve fill rates and reduce supply risk. Ensure effective material controls and efficient usage of resources, set priorities and support customers' requirements in a cost effective manner. Help create vision, strategy and goals for achieving operational excellence. Help direct and manage all aspects of manufacturing to achieve goals related to on-time delivery, quality and cost objectives. Help forecast department operating and capital expenditures. Provide management with periodic reports summarizing manufacturing cost and performance efficiencies. Evaluate performance and assist in career development planning for staff. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or other related field. More than 5 years of progressively responsible manufacturing management experience. Profound knowledge of and experience with assembling, verifying, calibrating instruments. Having basic knowledge of budgets, capital projects, product cost, and margin analysis. Thorough working experience and knowledge of ERP system. Ability to develop new manufacturing process, techniques and flows, provides proper and thorough training and achieves successful implementation. Ability to lead, motivate and develop employees. Good written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal and team-oriented skills.
