Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant team as a Tasting Room Hospitality Associate, where your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this role, you will serve as the welcoming face of our tasting room, guiding visitors through tastings, sharing the story behind our wines, and ensuring every guest feels valued and engaged. Responsibilities Welcome guests with warmth and enthusiasm, providing exceptional customer service throughout their visit Conduct tastings of our wines, sharing detailed descriptions and engaging storytelling to enhance guest experience Promote club membership opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room Handle POS transactions and CRM entries- wine club CRM experience a plus Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashing out guests and balancing registers at shift end Stocking wines and merchandise Conduct tours at the winery estate in Dry Creek Valley, as scheduled Qualifications Previous retail and hospitality experience is highly preferred, especially in tasting room settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Orderport is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor Experience in serving, upselling, and managing cash transactions confidently Wine knowledge preferred Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs 21 years of age or older Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to guest engagement Starting at $20/hour plus tips and commission To apply please submit resume
