Job Description
About the Role We are a growing nutraceutical manufacturing and co-packing company looking for a highly organized, resourceful, and hands-on Systems & Operations Manager to work closely with ownership and help strengthen the way our operation runs. This is a broad operational role for someone who enjoys creating structure, solving problems, organizing moving parts, and helping a growing company become more efficient. You will have visibility across production, inventory, purchasing, documentation, quality systems, and day-to-day operations. Rather than being limited to one department, this person will help connect the pieces and make sure important information, tasks, and processes are organized and moving forward. We are looking for someone who can look at an operation, understand how it works, identify where improvements can be made, and help build practical systems that make the team more effective. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will generally fall into a few core areas: System Implementation Inventory Management. Production Reporting. Support Daily Operations Work closely with ownership and the team to keep operational priorities organized and moving forward. You may help coordinate projects, follow up on open items, solve day-to-day issues, assist with purchasing and vendors, support production planning, and help make sure important tasks do not fall through the cracks. Help maintain accurate inventory records and provide better visibility into raw materials, packaging, work-in-process, and finished goods. Work with ownership and production personnel to help implement and maintain our cGMP Standard Operating Procedures. Be a Problem Solver Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is comfortable jumping into problems and helping create solutions. Some days that may mean improving a production tracker. Other days it may mean solving an inventory discrepancy, helping organize a new process, coordinating with a vendor, preparing information for ownership, or finding a better way to manage a recurring operational issue. We value someone who is willing to take ownership, figure things out, and help wherever the business needs support. What We Are Looking For You should be: Highly organized and detail-oriented A strong problem solver Resourceful and comfortable figuring things out Strong with follow-through Comfortable working directly with ownership Able to manage multiple priorities Comfortable communicating with both office and production teams Strong with spreadsheets, data, and reporting Comfortable learning new software and systems Interested in improving processes rather than simply maintaining them Preferred Experience Strong candidates may come from backgrounds in: Operations management Manufacturing Production management Inventory or supply chain Project management Quality systems Process improvement Purchasing ERP or inventory software implementation Nutraceutical, supplement, food, pharmaceutical, or cosmetic manufacturing Qualifications 3+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, inventory, production, project management, or a related field preferred Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills Experience creating operational systems, trackers, or reporting Manufacturing experience strongly preferred Experience with ERP or inventory-management systems is a plus cGMP or regulated manufacturing experience is a major plus Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
