Manage daily café operations, including cash handling, processing sales through POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, and maintaining accurate retail sales transactions. Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service, fostering a positive and energetic atmosphere. Oversee food safety protocols, including proper food handling, food preparation, and cleanliness to ensure compliance with health regulations. Maintain cleanliness of the café environment by executing regular cleaning routines and ensuring equipment is well-maintained. Assist in training new staff on beverage preparation, POS operation, food safety procedures, and customer service best practices. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the availability of coffee beans, beverages, and food items. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and efficient workflow. Skills Proven experience as a barista with strong beverage service skills; familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is essential. Prior experience in food service or café environments demonstrating knowledge of food handling and safety standards. Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Strong cash handling abilities along with basic math skills for processing payments accurately.
