Role:
Muir Wood is seeking an HR Operations Manager to help build the people infrastructure behind our growing, multi-site organization. This is a hands-on role for an HR operations leader who enjoys building—creating smarter processes, strengthening systems, and making work easier and more reliable for employees, managers, and the HR team. You'll partner across HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, and Front-line Teams to improve how work gets done at every stage of the employee lifecycle. We're looking for someone who naturally asks: What could work better? What's getting in the way? And how do we solve it together? This is more than HR administration—you'll have real ownership to build, simplify, automate, and scale.

What You'll Do:
Assess HR processes and redesign scalable and sustainable workflows across the employee lifecycle, onboarding, job changes, leaves, and offboarding, Develop clear SOPs, process maps, and service standards; reduce manual workarounds through automation Serve as owner and subject matter expert for HRIS and HR technology—optimizing workflows, integrations, permissions, and reporting Troubleshoot system issues with internal teams and vendors; support new HR technology implementations Improve HR data accuracy through recurring audits and quality-control processes Build and maintain workforce reports, dashboards, and HR operational metrics to track and support improvement over time Strengthen handoffs among HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, IT, and Operations Build processes that support compliance, strong documentation, audit-readiness, and growth Lead cross-functional process-improvement initiatives, bringing the right stakeholders together Lead and develop one HR Operations team member; set priorities, expectations, and service standards
