Job Description

Job Summary An Operation Manager manages field employees and monitors projects from inception to completion (signed quote to paid invoice). Provides the highest level of customer service with a sales-minded attitude while keeping the customer's best interest in mind and offering cost-effective solutions for their Life Safety needs. All the while developing lasting customer relationships. Operations Managers are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office and the field. Operations Managers are responsible for building and strengthening each team member through proper guidance while providing the Director of Operations with a daily detailed report on current projects and hosting meetings with management and field employees.
Essential Job Functions:
Overseeing employees' work to ensure they work productively, managing quality to meet deadlines and company standards, and strategizing process improvements. Effectively manages team members, including technicians and LEADS, to ensure team objectives and goals are being carried out in accordance with the direction of Leadership. Coach, mentor, and motivate technicians and influence them to take positive action and take responsibility for their assigned work. Drive performance so that each project is completed under budget and on schedule while communicating and hitting all project milestones, ensuring timely execution of projects according to plan. Offers exemplary customer service, including creating and maintaining customer relationships. Ensuring repeat customers by providing high-level services and handling any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally. Contact the customer within 24 hours of the signed proposal to prepare for scheduling a project and acquiring any additional information needed for this project. Resolves field problems, office, and customer issues while improving current operational methods to increase productivity and customer service in a timely manner. Monitors department issues and client complaints to define patterns and work to lessen those recurring issues. Sets up and maintains weekly Field Technician Schedule (to be sent out to Techs no later than the end of day Friday) as well as Projected Schedule (to be sent out to Upper Management no later than the end of day Friday). Creates and maintains a healthy working environment congruent with NCI core values. Responsible for ordering and managing job materials. This would include material inventories for stock and individual projects. Responsible for billing projects once they are complete after the customer has been promptly sent the final report and the repair quote. Oversees and delegates marketing material distributed by the Reporting Department to further brand recognition as well as obtain new potential clients to further company growth. Assists with or performs various administrative tasks
Educational & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field experience equivalency. Comprehensive Industry Knowledge & Management Experience. Previous Service Experience 5 years minimum. Excellent leadership & Strong Written and Verbal Communication. Strong Customer-Facing Skills. Self-Motivated with ability to troubleshoot and problem solve. Flexibility with scheduled hours to meet demand. Must meet and operate by NCI Core Values. Compensation and Benefits •

$66,733.33 - $80,367.02 per year
