Depot Supervisor Location:

San Diego, CA TransCold Distribution is the premier wholesale supplier and distributor of ice cream and frozen goods throughout Western Canada and the United States. TransCold provides exclusive access to the most recognized and popular brands in the world with industry best product variety and customer service. We deliver to Major Grocery, Drug, Gas & Convenience, chain retailers and independent retailers across Western North American markets through Direct to Store Delivery (DSD) and Warehouse Fulfillment, and provide services for mobile vendors, corporate events and third-party logistics (3PL) customers. We have an immediate opening for a full time, Operations Supervisor to join our team in Poway, CA!

Key Responsibilities include:

Works in harmony with direct manager and all other levels/department employees to ensure the company's vision, mission, and values are upheld. Assumes direct responsibility for all aspects of depot operations to include: Adequate training/scheduling of operations personnel Initial point of contact for all operation matters within the depot including safety and security matters. Ensures orders are picked/loaded/delivered as scheduled or as business needs dictate. Coordinates and oversees all warehouse activities such as: Ensures timely workflow planning to safeguard Operations Team in the consistent preparation and all daily, weekly, monthly activities. Receives and ships loads (i.e. product, assets, POS, etc.) in accordance with standard operating procedures. Keeps freezers/assets inventories clean and ready for placement. Provides and maintains accurate upkeep of all required daily, weekly, monthly reporting. Acts as Route Relief Driver as necessary in emergency situations. Ensures all warehouse personnel are consistently following operational procedures at all times including but not limited to: Cleaning up as they work keeping all aspects of facility (inside and out) clean, organized, presentable, and in order at all times. Putting product away in correct/assigned locations (included returned product) Operating all equipment safely Ensuring accurate picking of replenishment tickets Assumes direct responsibility for maintenance and repair of all TransCold fleet vehicles within the depot. Assumes direct responsibility for facility maintenance and coordinates building repairs and improvements in conjunction with manager approval/direction. Facilitates monthly inventory in accordance with company expectations. Consistently and proactively communicates any and all challenges/issues to Operations Manager immediately when they happen and seeks guidance as necessary. Performs any and all other tasks/duties within the scope of the role as necessary. Key Qualifications for this

Role:

Minimum 2 years warehouse supervision/management experience Comprehensive knowledge of Distribution Center inbound, outbound, inventory management and storage processes, methods, and principles. Effective leadership skills with the ability to work well with and through others. Possession of a valid driver's license (Class B endorsement preferred) Safe/clean driving record free of recent infractions and accidents Capable of lifting and moving merchandise of up to 50 lbs. Familiarity of the workflow in a busy warehouse environment Ability to work independently as well as a dedicated supporter/contributor of the team. Good decision-making & problem-solving capabilities Solid experience and working knowledge of an automated Warehouse Management System (WMS) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal. Possess the drive and attitude to lead a team to success daily and exceed customer service expectations. Weekends Off Compensation:

• Starting at $72K. Depending on experience
