Every day you will champion your team, proactively advocating for their needs, ideas, and concerns directly to leadership. Leveraging your exceptional communication skills, you will adeptly navigate challenging conversations and serve as a dedicated educator, utilizing every interaction to enhance understanding of patient, staff, and organizational needs. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate both competence and confidence, effectively managing your team through clear communication, robust performance management, strategic hiring, and comprehensive training initiatives.
Job Requirements Required:
Other Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program One (1) year of supervisor or lead experience One of the following:
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Medical Radiographer:
CA, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography, Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology, Registered Technologist Mammography Current BLS through American Heart Association Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills are essential. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation of and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety is required. Expertise in use of digital imaging applications such as PACS, RIS, EMR and other technical applications to support imaging modalities.
Preferred:
Three (3) years experience as a technologist One (1) year experience in an outpatient environment Bachelors of Science in Health Management or Business Administration Billing and coding experience and understanding of radiology exams and procedures.
