Job Description

Title:
Parish Administrator for St Paul's San Pablo Episcopal Church in
Salinas Position Summary:
The Parish Administrator serves as church staff with a commitment to the church's mission. Our church is a diverse, inclusive, and inviting community of faith. This position coordinates, oversees and performs a variety of duties requiring independent initiative. One of the main responsibilities of the PA is to support the rector. S/he will be asked to be a team player with other staff and facilitate the volunteers' daily operations of the church. Provides administrative assistance to the vestry (parish council) as per request from the Senior Warden (Chair) and Rector, committees, and worship assistant groups. Requirements for the position Support the rector with weekly bulletins and general communications Maintain monthly ministry and meeting schedules in coordination with staff and volunteers, and coordinate any group needs prior to meetings. Sustain relationships and contracts with outside service providers (e.g., cleaning, landscape, accounting, organ maintenance, and equipment technicians, among others.) In charge and follow-up of rental agreements (i.e., weddings, funerals, baptisms, other community groups) with outside parties following strictly the policies of the church. Ensure parish records, basic accounting and parochial reports are updated and filed as required. Qualifications & Skills Bilingual spoken and written proficiency in English and Spanish, highly recommended Independent, self-motivated, adaptable, cooperative, energetic, discerning, team player, organized, and friendly disposition. Expert skills with complete Microsoft Office Windows 10 including Publisher, Adobe, and Cava. Comfortable with office/building equipment such as copiers, printers, paper cutters, faxes, shredders, PC systems, multi-line phone systems, data servers, and simple security systems. Ability to create, format, and produce large scale and unique printing projects, such as booklets, directories, and pamphlets. This includes finding the correct material for the job and test printing as needed. Some college preferred

Position Details:
