Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Operations Manager to lead and optimize the firm's day-to-day operations. This role is the backbone of the firm—responsible for ensuring that our people, systems, and processes run efficiently across all departments. You do not need legal experience—but you must be highly organized, proactive, and capable of leading in a fast-paced environment . Core Responsibilities1. Workflow Leadership Supervise the workflow of legal and non-legal team members Ensure efficiency, accountability, and high-quality service delivery Identify operational issues and implement solutions quickly 2. Department Oversight Oversee daily operations of: Intake Pre-Litigation Litigation Track and manage KPIs aligned with firm goals Ensure departments are operating effectively and consistently 3. Operations & Efficiency Build, refine, and enforce internal systems and processes Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions Evaluate and integrate tools and technology to improve performance 4. Compliance & Financial Oversight Ensure compliance with California labor laws and applicable regulations Oversee payroll and coordinate with accounting Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting Maintain accurate employee and operational records 5. Human Resources Leadership Manage recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment Support employee development and retention Build strong internal and client-facing relationships 6. Strategic Execution Implement firm-wide initiatives and projects Support leadership in executing growth strategies Help scale the firm's operations in a sustainable way QualificationsRequired Bilingual (English/Spanish) - professional fluency required 2+ years of leadership, management, or operations experience Highly organized with strong attention to detail Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and ownership Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, in-office environment Preferred (Not Required) Experience in a law firm or professional services setting College degree or equivalent experience Experience with payroll, HR, or operations management What We're Looking For This role is for someone who: Takes ownership without waiting for direction Builds systems—not just completes tasks Holds people accountable while supporting team growth Wants to grow into a long-term leadership role within the firm Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $65,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience) Performance-based bonus opportunities Paid time off + holidays Clear path for growth and increased responsibility Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and comply with all applicable California and federal employment laws.
