Experience:
Manager Salary:
$110,000 - $150,000 per year Job Details - We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to join our team in the Aerospace Manufacturing industry. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative company that is committed to excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations across multiple departments including Bench, Facilities, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the daily operations of the engineering department, ensuring that all projects are progressing as planned and that all deadlines are met. 2. Lead and manage the Operations group of around 40-50 people. 3. Work closely with other departments to ensure that all projects are aligned with company goals and objectives. 4. Implement and oversee lean manufacturing processes, ensuring that all operations are efficient and cost-effective. 5. Oversee the assembly of structural and chemical components, ensuring that all products meet our strict quality standards. 6. Manage the use and handling of chemicals, ensuring that all safety regulations are strictly adhered to. 7. Utilize DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodologies to improve processes and increase efficiency. 8. Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary. 9. Ensure that all operations are compliant with industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is a plus. 2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role in the manufacturing industry. 3. Extensive knowledge of structural components and/or chemical manufacturing. 4. Experience with lean manufacturing processes and DMAIC methodologies. 5. Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and leading teams. 6. Experience with chemical handling and safety regulations. 7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions. 8. ITAR Compliant Environment.
