This pivotal role combines leadership, management, and customer service expertise to create a welcoming environment that highlights our brand's hospitality and quality. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic setting, managing staff, coordinating events, and ensuring smooth operations from shift to shift. Your passion for hospitality and strong organizational skills will drive the success of our tasting room and elevate guest satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the tasting room, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure top-tier guest service. Manage daily operations including shift management, cash handling, inventory control, and cleanliness standards. Coordinate and execute events, tastings, and special functions to enhance guest engagement and brand visibility. Contribute to business strategy by staying in tune with guest flow and feedback, community patterns, and performance trends Maintain accurate report writing on sales, incidents, and operational activities to support ongoing improvements. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies at all times. Supervise opening and closing procedures, manage staffing schedules, and oversee resource allocation for efficient workflow. Develop and maintain relationships with chefs, winemakers, musicians, vendors, and community groups Cultivate strong partnerships with neighboring businesses to drive cross-collaboration and enhance the local community Curate events and experiences that foster meaningful connection and repeat engagement Manage social media, storytelling, and brand presence Drive event promotion and guest retention Skills Proven leadership experience in wine and hospitality, with solid wine knowledge Strong background in events management with the ability to coordinate multiple activities seamlessly. A hands-on operator who's comfortable executing day to day while thinking big picture A natural connector with an existing network in the hospitality world Excited to wear many hats and work closely with owner in a small, growing business Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor. Skilled in cash handling procedures and maintaining accurate financial records. Effective communication skills with the ability to lead teams and engage guests confidently.
