Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Mid-Level Aviation Operations Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of aviation operations within our organization. This role is vital in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant management of aircraft maintenance, logistics, and service activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of aviation regulations, and a passion for delivering outstanding service. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, supervise maintenance and technical operations, and foster a culture of safety and excellence across all aviation functions. Responsibilities Lead and supervise aviation maintenance teams, including service technicians and mechanics, ensuring adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and safety standards. Oversee aircraft maintenance schedules, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting to guarantee operational readiness and safety compliance. Manage logistics related to aircraft parts, equipment, and supplies, optimizing inventory levels and procurement processes. Coordinate with international teams by utilizing multilingual communication skills in Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and English to facilitate seamless operations across diverse markets. Ensure all operations comply with aviation safety protocols while maintaining rigorous documentation for audits and inspections. Supervise the training of staff on technical procedures, safety practices, manual transmission operation, heavy lifting techniques, and other essential skills. Develop organizational strategies to improve efficiency in maintenance management, time management, and service delivery while fostering a proactive safety culture. Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all federal laws governing aviation operations. Oversee the execution of aircraft servicing tasks that require mechanical knowledge, basic math skills for calculations, and precise communication skills for team coordination. Lead emergency response efforts during incidents or irregular operations by coordinating with emergency responders and internal teams. Experience 3-8 years experience leading a production team, Proven management experience in aviation operations or maintenance environments with supervising responsibilities. Extensive hands-on experience as a service technician or mechanic within the aviation industry. Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, federal regulations (FAR), logistics management, and safety protocols. Multilingual abilities in Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and English are highly desirable to support international operations. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience supervising diverse teams in high-pressure settings. Background in military or heavy-duty vehicle operation such as commercial driving or manual transmission handling is advantageous. Familiarity with maintenance management systems and organizational skills necessary for overseeing complex workflows. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining attention to detail during inspections or repairs.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
