The Director of Integrated Planning & Inventory Operations facilitates work between Purchasing and Planning/Production Control to maximize efficient demand planning, inventory management, returns processing, and shipping level oversight under a single point of accountability. Use returns data to inform demand planning adjustments and vendor performance management. Partner with Quality and Regulatory on returned product handling and supplement compliance requirements.
Shipping and Fulfillment Levels:
Oversee shipping level strategy in coordination with logistics and fulfillment partners to ensure inventory is positioned to meet demand signals. Monitor and respond to fill rate, on-time shipping, and order cycle time metrics. Identify and resolve bottlenecks that contribute to out-of-stock outcomes at point of sale or fulfillment.
Cross-Functional Integration:
Serve as the primary liaison between Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Finance on matters of inventory availability and supply constraints. Lead a regular S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) cadence or equivalent cross-functional planning forum. Partner with vendor brand managers on forecast inputs and vendor replenishment performance. All other tasks as assigned by Threshold management.
