Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Dealer Operation Manager to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a former Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager looking to transition into a dynamic corporate role while continuing to leverage their industry expertise and relationships within the automotive parts industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our car dealership network, monitoring dealer performance, and serving as a key liaison between our company and dealership parts departments. This role is ideal for an experienced automotive parts professional who enjoys working closely with dealership personnel, strengthening business partnerships, and contributing to the continued growth of a fast-paced automotive e-commerce organization. Applicants must be personable, professional, results-driven, and possess exceptional communication and leadership skills. What you'll do: Vendor Relations & Operations Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with current suppliers, vendors, and dealership parts departments. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor communications and partnership initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve vendor performance, pricing, availability, and service levels. Collaborate with vendors to resolve inventory, fulfillment, pricing, and operational issues. Conduct regular business reviews with vendors and recommend strategic improvements. Support the onboarding and development of new vendor relationships. Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote partnerships, identify new opportunities, and support business initiatives. Maintain a professional presence while serving as a company representative during vendor meetings, industry events, and customer-facing opportunities. Work cross-functionally to ensure company goals and objectives are achieved. Who we're looking for: Previous dealership Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager experience is
REQUIRED.
Minimum of 5 years of Parts Management experience within an automotive dealership environment. Proven experience building and maintaining professional vendor and supplier relationships. Strong knowledge of automotive parts operations, inventory management, and dealership processes. Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record of managing and developing teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. High level of integrity and commitment to doing the right thing. Positive attitude with a strong "can-do" work ethic. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational reporting tools. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Multi-location operational experience. Experience working with OEM parts programs and vendor management. Experience with performance reporting and KPI analysis. Familiarity with e-commerce or wholesale automotive parts operations.
