Job Description
Julie's Dream Winery is a boutique winery located in the heart of Temecula Wine Country. We are seeking a hospitality-focused, customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Tasting Room Server. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. This position plays a key role in wine sales, wine club growth, and delivering memorable hospitality to our guests.
Job Details Pay:
$16.90 per hour, plus tips, bottle commission, and Wine Club sign-up commission opportunities.Schedule:
- Weekends and Holidays as needed
- Variable schedule, typically 8-16 hours per week
- Additional hours may be available during events, holidays, and peak business periods
Work Location:
In Person - Temecula, CA Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and hospitality to guests
- Conduct wine tastings and educate guests about winery offerings
- Promote wine sales and Wine Club memberships
- Create engaging and memorable guest experiences
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the tasting room and guest areas
- Perform routine janitorial and housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning mirrors and surfaces, removing trash, general cleanup, and cleaning and restocking guest and employee restrooms
- Help maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and presentable winery environment for guests and staff
- Restock wine, merchandise, and operational supplies
- Bus tables, wash and polish glassware, and support daily tasting room operations
- Assist with winery events and special functions
- Work collaboratively as a team player to support overall winery operations
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals, including Wine Club membership goals
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Previous customer service, hospitality, restaurant, retail, or wine industry experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with POS systems preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
