The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring the store runs efficiently while maintaining a positive shopping experience for our customers. Duties Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service. Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling. Conduct employee orientation, training, and development to enhance team performance. Manage scheduling, payroll, and budgeting to ensure operational efficiency. Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory control measures. Handle recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff members. Develop marketing strategies to promote sales and enhance store visibility. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as safety regulations. Maintain visual merchandising standards to create an inviting shopping environment. Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with a focus on customer service. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Proficient in retail math, inventory management, POS systems, and cash handling procedures. Experience in budgeting, payroll processing, and bookkeeping is preferred. Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities. Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and manage purchasing decisions. Familiarity with merchandising techniques and retail sales strategies. Prior experience in grocery store management is advantageous but not required.
