We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hotel Director of Operations to lead our hospitality team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. In this full-time leadership role, you will oversee daily hotel functions, drive operational excellence, and foster a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Your passion for hospitality, combined with strong management skills, will help elevate our property's reputation and profitability. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services, ensuring seamless operations. Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue management opportunities while maintaining high standards of service quality. Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control initiatives to meet financial goals. Foster a positive guest relations environment by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring exceptional customer service at every touchpoint. Manage human resources functions such as hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development to build a motivated team. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, hotel policies, and industry standards across all departments. Oversee night audit procedures and coordinate with the front desk team to ensure smooth overnight operations. Utilize multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to communicate effectively with guests, vendors, and staff. Promote a culture of hospitality excellence by leading by example in guest interactions and operational practices. Collaborate with resort management to enhance guest experiences through innovative programs and service enhancements. Skills Multilingual or bilingual abilities to connect with diverse guests and team members worldwide. Proven supervising experience within the hospitality management sector, demonstrating leadership in fast-paced environments. Extensive knowledge of hotel management principles including revenue management, guest services, and human resources practices. Strong background in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control strategies tailored for hotels or resorts. Exceptional customer service skills coupled with effective communication skills—both verbal and written—using professional phone etiquette on multi-line systems. Deep understanding of hotel operations including front desk management, night audit procedures, and guest relations. Experience in managing teams across multiple departments with a focus on hospitality excellence and staff development. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of service delivery in a resort setting.
