Operations Supervisor

CareFree Boat Club is currently seeking a full-time, experienced Captain to manage dock operations and member training at our Clinton and Noank locations. This is a physically demanding role that offers the opportunity to work outdoors in a beautiful environment with significant room for professional growth.

As this is primarily a customer service position, we are looking for a candidate who prioritizes our members' experience while possessing strong technical boating knowledge. Your daily responsibilities will include assisting members on the dock, conducting member boat training, and managing our reservation system. You will also be responsible for maintaining the fleet, which includes inspecting vessels for damage, cleaning and scrubbing decks, flushing engines, and fueling boats. On dedicated maintenance days, duties include transporting boats to the launch for hull cleaning and waxing. Please note that you may occasionally need to lift over 50 lbs and will be required to work outside in various weather conditions, though an air-conditioned office is provided.

The ideal candidate must have extensive boat handling experience, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. While the role involves mechanical tasks such as assisting with oil changes, your primary focus will be providing excellent service to our members.
