Job Description

Position Summary:
The Director of Operations is a member of the Facility Leadership team, member of the treatment team, and is responsible for maintaining the wellbeing of clients and integrity of the program. This position may provide direct supervision and oversight of any of the following departments: Dietary, Operations, Peer Support, Drivers, EVS, Maintenance, and any other department that is within their scope as determined by the Facility Leader. Assures the program policies and procedures are followed by staff and in compliance with state licensing and accrediting body.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Oversees staff training, compliance with training and staff competence to ensure a well-managed facility that provides a exemplary patient experience.
  • Supervises, supports and provides strategic direction to all departments within their responsibility
  • Overseas general daily operations throughout the facility.
  • Provides reports as required by facility leadership and monitors key performance indicators.
  • Creates action plans and implements the action plan based on KPI's to ensure departments within their oversight meet expectations.
  • Plans, organizes and directs services and special programming for clients.
  • Manages the company fleet.
  • Responsible for purchases and invoicing contracts with outside vendors.
  • Maintains staffing grids and monitors overtime for all hourly staff members within their reporting structure.
  • Participate in the Administrator on call rotation.
  • Ensures and holds their team accountable to patient safety, customer service and a positive treatment experience.
Knowledge, Education, Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, master's degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of experience leading teams in the behavioral healthcare space required.
  • 5 of more years of experience leading teams in the behavioral healthcare space preferred.
  • Knowledge of state licensing and accrediting standards.
  • Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws

Full-time Schedule:
Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm
