This role is vital in driving project success through effective management of field operations, adherence to safety standards, and delivery of high-quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Millwork Construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of millwork processes, including blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. What does a Custom Millwork & Design Group (CMD) Field Operations Manager do? As our Field Operation Manager, your job will be oversee client relationships, field operations and field personnel, and coordinate people and processes together with our Manufacturing Team, Drafting Design Team, Sales and Estimating Team to ensure that our projects are delivered on schedule and within budget while overseeing the quality and service that we proudly offer our valued clients. Field Operations Manager Requirements Our Field Operations Manager should have a strong background in millwork construction management, excellent leadership and business skills, management, budgeting and analysis skills and a comprehensive understanding of millwork processes. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. You also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude, as well as supervision of a multi-person team and client relationship experience. Responsibilities Oversee all field operations personnel and Sub-Subcontractors for all ongoing projects Oversee all client relationships and communication Oversee Sub-Subcontractor's Proposal and Contract Agreements with the Legal Department Participation in project transfer meetings from the sales and estimating department and shall consolidate project information into management form. Distribute the project information to other members of the Project Management Team as required. Fully understand the project details and contractual requirements for the successful implementation of the project. Assist in setting and managing the production schedule. Responsibility for the daily/weekly meetings with the Project Management Team to collaborate and communicate such details as needed. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of field projects. Ensure that all field projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Ensure resource availability and allocation. Develop a detailed field project plan to track project status. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. Manage the relationship with the client and be responsible for schedule coordination and communication with the Client Team. Oversee and manage the field requests and requirements to the factory team. Pull from the factory team as needed so as to keep field projects on schedule and on budget. Project reports delivered to CMD president on a monthly basis.
These reports to include:
o Financial status against budget. o Schedule status against project schedule. o Resource status against project plan. Requirements Experience with INNERGY Manufacturing Software Preferred. Proven working experience as a project administrator in the construction industry. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
