Operations Manager -
Residential Paving Location:
Thomaston, CT Area Company:
Deziel Paving Join a Winning Team with great pay and great benefits! The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, manage teams, and ensure successful project delivery. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of quality and safety while contributing to the growth and success of Deziel Paving. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for efficiency and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including project scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment management. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
Team Leadership:
Manage and lead field teams, providing training, support, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and motivated team culture focused on delivering excellent results. Coordinate staffing needs to ensure optimal resource utilization.
Process Optimization:
Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Monitor project progress and troubleshoot any challenges or delays. Utilize technology and tools to streamline operations and enhance communication.
Customer Service:
Work closely with clients to ensure expectations are met or exceeded. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally. Support the sales team in project scoping and client proposals.
Financial Oversight:
Collaborate with management to manage budgets, track costs, and identify opportunities for savings. Analyze operational data to make informed decisions that drive profitability.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in operations management, preferably in construction or paving. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the paving industry. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
