Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Manager / Lead Detailer to oversee the daily operations of our mobile aviation detailing business, with a focus on KBDL, KOXC, and KHFD. This role combines leadership with hands-on expertise in aviation detailing - cleaning, buffing, paint correction, and interior detailing, brightwork, de-ice boots, etc. ensuring every job meets the highest aviation standards of safety, cleanliness ,and finish. As a key team leader, you will motivate staff, streamline processes, and uphold safety protocols to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a spotless, efficient aviation detailing environment. Duties Supervise daily detailing operations, ensuring all aircraft are serviced to the appropriate standards Lead and train team members Manage scheduling and workflow to maximize productivity while maintaining safety practices across the facility Oversee the proper use and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance Enforce safe work practices including heavy lifting protocols and proper handling of chemicals and equipment Conduct quality control inspections on completed aircraft to ensure consistent excellence in detailing results Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded Support sales and relationship management activities Experience Proven experience in aviation detailing or maintenance Strong knowledge of paint correction techniques, buffing methods, and aviation cleaning processes Hands-on experience with aircraft detailing and maintenance, as well as airport operations and expectations Familiarity with safe work practices related to heavy lifting, chemical handling, and equipment operation in a detailing setting Previous leadership or supervisory roles in aviation detailing or similar environments preferred Excellent customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and attention to detail Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Specific aviation experience Ability to lift 50lbs Ability to pass a drug test and background check for airport badge access Hands-on experience with aircraft detailing and maintenance, as well as airport operations and expectations Join us as we elevate aviation detailing, safety, and care through expert craftsmanship combined with energetic leadership.
