Full-time Operations Manager Volusia Recovery Alliance Reports To:
Executive Director Position Overview Volusia Recovery Alliance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our organization and support the successful delivery of recovery-focused programs and services. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence, contract compliance, data integrity, staff accountability, and strong community partnerships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, mission-driven, and skilled in operational management, with the ability to streamline processes, support team performance, and contribute to the continued growth of the organization. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operational functions to ensure efficiency across programs and departments. Develop and improve systems, workflows, and procedures that support organizational effectiveness and program success. Monitor program performance, operational metrics, and reporting systems to ensure data accuracy and contract compliance. In cooperation with the Contract Manager, prepare and manage reports for funders, leadership, community stakeholders, and internal program monitoring. Work closely with the bookkeeper and accountant to maintain financial policies and grant budgets. Coordinate organizational scheduling needs with all supervisory staff, including outreach events, training, support groups, and major organizational initiatives. Support department managers and supervisors in implementing procedures and maintaining accountability for program outcomes. Assist with staff recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and retention efforts. Maintain positive working relationships with community partners, vendors, and stakeholders. Support grant development efforts and assist in identifying opportunities for program expansion and organizational growth. Assist with audits, compliance monitoring, and implementation of operational policies and procedures in partnership with executive management. Coordinate logistics and provide leadership support for major organizational events. Attend monthly Board of Directors meetings to present monthly reports Perform additional duties as needed to support the mission and operations of Volusia Recovery Alliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience. Experience in operations management, nonprofit administration, program oversight, or contract management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Experience with data management, reporting systems, and process improvement. Skilled in creating and maintaining a positive/supportive work culture and staff conflict management Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and other data management platforms. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass Level 2 background screening. Preferred Qualifications Certified Recovery Peer Specialist credential preferred. Experience working in nonprofit, behavioral health, or recovery support services. Familiarity with recovery-oriented systems of care and community-based service models. Lived experience or personal connection to recovery is valued. Proven track record of planning and executing special events Work Schedule This is a full-time, salaried position.
