Job Description
Operations Manager - Account Management & Facility Services US Snow Pros is a national exterior facility services provider specializing in commercial snow and ice management, landscape maintenance, and property services throughout the United States. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Account Management team and help drive service excellence, accountability, and client satisfaction across our growing national portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring significant experience in the commercial exterior facility services industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background and proven experience directly managing Account Managers responsible for commercial snow, landscape, and facility service accounts. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and manage a team of Account Managers responsible for commercial client accounts nationwide. Establish clear expectations and hold Account Managers accountable for client communication, service delivery, follow-up, documentation, and overall account performance. Monitor team performance, workloads, client satisfaction, service issues, and account health. Serve as a management-level escalation point for client, service partner, employee, and operational issues. Resolve conflicts professionally and effectively while balancing client expectations, contractual requirements, operational realities, and company interests. Oversee the coordination and quality of commercial snow and ice, landscape maintenance, and other facility services. Identify recurring service failures or operational challenges, determine root causes, and implement corrective action. Support Account Managers in managing difficult client conversations, service partner performance issues, and high-priority situations. Conduct regular team and individual meetings and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management. Work closely with leadership and internal departments, including accounting, billing, and compliance, to resolve issues and improve processes. Support client retention, account growth, seasonal planning, and overall operational performance. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, communication, accountability, and service delivery across the Account Management team. Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of practical experience in commercial snow and ice management, commercial landscape management, and other commercial facility services. Minimum 3 years of management experience directly overseeing Account Managers responsible for these services. Proven ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold employees accountable. Strong understanding of commercial client management, service delivery, and service partner/vendor management. Demonstrated conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage difficult client, employee, and service partner situations professionally and decisively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong business judgment and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management software.
