Operations Administrator Job Summary Operations Administrator supports daily operations within the blueberry packing facility. This role ensures smooth coordination between harvesting, packing, shipping, and administrative functions while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily packing house operations, including scheduling and workflow tracking Maintain production records (incoming fruit, packed volumes, waste, and yields) Track inventory for packaging materials and supplies Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and delivery schedules Communicate with farm managers, supervisors, and logistics teams Monitor quality control documentation and compliance records Enter and manage data in inventory or production systems Support payroll tracking (hours and attendance) Ensure adherence to food safety standards (GAP, HACCP) Identify and help implement process improvements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred) Experience in agriculture, warehouse, or food production preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry systems Strong organizational and multitasking skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment Strong communication skills Work Environment Packing house/warehouse setting with cool temperatures. Seasonal peaks may require extended hours, weekends, or early mornings. Frequent interaction with production staff and management. Preferred Qualities Familiarity with produce handling or agricultural operations Knowledge of food safety and traceability requirements Ability to stay organized during high-volume harvest periods Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
