The Senior Manager Operations is responsible for managing and directing operation to ensure it operates efficiently and meet production, quality and cost standards. Comply with all safety/environmental regulations and adhere to company policy and best-demonstrated practices. Ensure adequate training of area personnel. Conduct and act upon actionable items that are identified from internal and external audits such as safety, environmental and housekeeping in accordance with Safety/Environmental Indices. What will you do? Direct daily operations, establish priorities to ensure production quality and compliance with safety and environmental regulations and efficient plant operation Develop and manage short and long-term capital spending plans and expense budget management from $20MM to $150MM Provide work direction to the team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles and business goals and performance standards. Manage performance issues when necessary and develop/coach employees to retain and grow organizational talent. Maximize operating factors, minimize costs and attain production goals. In conjunction develop improvement projects and establish implementation plans. Plan and/or direct operation/maintenance activities that maintain area system integrity. What do you need for this role? High School/GED is required. Bachelor's in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Mining), Business Management, Business Administration is preferred 10+ years relevant experience with 5+ years in a leadership role Strong motivational, organizational, interpersonal and communication, process improvement and management of multiple priorities PI, OIS, SAP, Process knowledge What's In It for
