Are comfortable reviewing operational and financial information and taking corrective action when results fall short. Enjoy developing people and building a strong pipeline of promotable managers and supervisors. Are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities across different customer locations. Are proactive, goal-oriented, and comfortable being accountable for district performance. Can work independently while communicating effectively with senior leadership and support departments. Are comfortable traveling throughout the assigned Northeast Georgia territory. Key Responsibilities District Performance & Financial Management Develop and recommend operational goals and objectives for the district. Work with Account Managers to develop and maintain job budgets. Ensure customer accounts meet or exceed established profit objectives. Monitor labor, equipment, supply, and material requirements while controlling costs. Continually evaluate procedures, methods, and equipment to improve performance, efficiency, and profitability. Operations & Quality Provide leadership and oversight to Account Managers and operational support personnel. Ensure contracted services, Special Services projects, and work orders are completed accurately and on time. Ensure work meets or exceeds SMO quality standards and customer expectations. Support the development and administration of quality-control processes and inspections. Ensure operational equipment and vehicles are properly maintained. Monitor daily timekeeping and payroll reports and ensure corrections are completed accurately and promptly. Team Leadership & Staffing Recruit, develop, coach, and evaluate Account Managers and other operational personnel. Maintain an ongoing training and development program that promotes high performance and develops future leaders. Evaluate management performance and make recommendations regarding promotion, compensation, transfer, disciplinary action, or termination. Partner with Human Resources and operational support personnel to maintain appropriate staffing throughout the district. Customer Relationships Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the district. Maintain regular customer contact and monitor overall satisfaction. Address service concerns and support Account Managers in resolving customer issues. Identify opportunities to strengthen customer retention and expand existing relationships. Sales & Business Growth Partner with the Sales Department to identify prospective accounts and sales opportunities. Participate in facility walk-throughs, workloading, and sales presentations as needed. Identify opportunities to increase Special Services and additional service sales with existing customers. Minimum Qualifications Five years of previous janitorial management experience or comparable facilities-services management experience. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate managers and operational teams. Experience scheduling labor, controlling labor costs, and managing service quality. Strong customer-service and relationship-management skills. Strong organizational, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read service specifications, maintain records, prepare reports, and use basic financial and mathematical skills to monitor labor and supply costs. Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel for business reporting. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the assigned district.
