Job Description The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the operational, financial, and strategic performance of a regional business unit while ensuring the successful delivery of multiple projects. Lead the overall operational and financial performance of the business unit, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth. Develop and execute annual operating plans, budgets, staffing strategies, and growth initiatives. Provide leadership across project management, field operations, safety, quality, and estimating functions. Oversee the successful delivery of multiple construction projects, ensuring cost, schedule, quality, and client expectations are achieved. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders. Drive workforce development through coaching, mentoring, succession planning, and performance management. Monitor project financial performance, including billing, forecasting, cost control, and margin improvement initiatives. The Successful Applicant History of succesfully leading mission critical projects preferably in the data center space. Proven experience in a senior operations, construction, or project leadership position within the electrical contracting or construction industry. Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated responsibility for budgets, profitability, and operational performance. Experience managing multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams simultaneously. Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety standards, quality management systems, and industry regulations. Ability to build lasting client relationships and identify opportunities for business growth. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
