Job Description

Operations Manager Shoreline Transportation is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Operations Department as a Operations Manager. We provide trucking services for local customers. This position would be carrying out the responsibilities of the Operations Department and ensuring the company accuracy in its day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles, such as Commercial Motor Vehicles. Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements. Available to support, manage and direct investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints or needs as needed. Serve as contact person for all customers or shippers within assigned territories. Collaborate with other managers and staff members to coordinate and plan for driver requirements. Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and government regulations. Work directly with maintenance management and staff to ensure repairs and maintenance to equipment, vehicles, and facilities are being met. Report daily to executive management.
Requirements:
Currently live within a 30-mile radius of Ellabell, GA. Minimum of 5 years' experience in management and logistics planning. Experience with the logistics planning of Automotive Manufacturing a plus.
Strong Computer Skills a must:
Microsoft office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong communication skills. Monday through Friday & two Saturdays a month when the plant is running. Good organizational and motivational skills. Awareness of internal and external customer needs.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
