Company DescriptionWinsupply is in the business of creating and enabling entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams through wholesale distribution. Winsupply is a group of over 680 locally-owned companies that operate across a variety of industries, including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and more. The purpose of Winsupply Sourcing Services and its Distribution Center (DC) network is to be a preferred vendor and partner of Local Companies. This is achieved through premier supply chain services at its seven DCs to provide Winsupply entrepreneurs and their customers the inventory they need, when they need it, from over 200 vendor suppliers.

Job DescriptionThe Operations Manager position focuses on the overall daily execution, and tactical management of operations for the Atlanta DC. The primary function of this role is to implement consistent operational processes across the facility, to increase productivity, lower expenses, and improve overall customer service. The Operations Manager bridges the gap between high-level strategy and daily inter-departmental execution, ensuring that the facility remains legally compliant, fiscally responsible, and operationally elite.

Operations, Business Efficiency, ComplianceManagement of all departmental key performance indicators, and all operational functions (Receiving, Shipping, Inventory Control, Will-Call), ensuring consistent procedural implementation across the facility. that mirrors the distribution network standards. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to enhance information flow and warehouse efficiency that mirrors the distribution network standards.

Execute quality control initiatives and audits to ensure high fulfillment accuracy by minimizing order errors and product damages.

Manage the maintenance and scheduled PM services for all Material Handling Equipment.

Assist the Lead DC Manager in managing facility expenses as well as labor cost.

Manage building maintenance and supplier contracts, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and service optimization.

Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing OSHA compliance and Building Safety SOPs across all departments.

Personnel & Cultural LeadershipRecruit, train, and mentor staff. Focus on effective delegation and coaching to build a high-performing distribution team.

Execute fair and consistent employee accountability practices, including the deployment of progressive discipline and performance improvement plans.

Foster a positive, inclusive culture that promotes growth. Use "big picture" thinking to resolve conflicts and improve employee morale and retention.

Provide transparent and persuasive communication to all employees regarding performance successes and opportunities for improvement.

Technical Systems & DataDemonstrate deep knowledge of all warehouse management systems.

Leverage system analytics to make informed operational decisions and articulate requirements for system improvements.

Actively mentor team members to elevate the technical capability of department leadership. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution, Logistics, Business Management, or a related field.2+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experienceComprehensive knowledge of WMS/TMS systems; proficiency in data analytics.

MHE certification required.
