About the Role Lookout Mountain Inn is seeking a hospitality-focused, self-motivated Innkeeper to serve as the face of our charming bed and breakfast. This unique live-in position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences, preparing memorable breakfasts, and leading daily property operations in a beautiful mountain setting. The Innkeeper will reside on-site and oversee guest services, breakfast operations, and housekeeping standards while helping maintain the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines the Lookout Mountain Inn experience. ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Hospitality Welcome and assist guests throughout their stay. Manage guest check-ins and check-outs. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and special requests. Ensure a consistently exceptional guest experience. Maintain a warm, professional, and hospitable presence on property. Breakfast Service Plan, prepare, and serve breakfast five days per week. Maintain cleanliness and organization of breakfast and kitchen areas. Manage breakfast inventory and ordering needs. Accommodate dietary restrictions and guest preferences when possible. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed. Housekeeping Oversight Supervise daily housekeeping operations. Inspect guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards. Coordinate room turnover schedules and laundry operations. Assist with housekeeping duties as needed during peak occupancy periods. Monitor inventory of housekeeping supplies and linens. Property Operations Assist with maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the property. Coordinate with maintenance and leadership when issues arise. Help oversee property readiness for arriving guests. Support special events and seasonal initiatives as needed. Qualifications Hospitality, hotel, bed and breakfast, vacation rental, or guest service experience. Experience preparing meals or working in food service. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a part of the Timberroot family. Positive attitude with a genuine passion for serving guests. Comfortable living on-site and being a visible presence at the property. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform light physical tasks as needed.
