Job Description

Overview Position Summary The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, membership growth, customer experience, staffing, events, and profitability of a modern golf simulator club and entertainment venue. This individual will lead all aspects of the business while creating an energetic, welcoming, and professional golf culture for members and guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about golf, hospitality, sales, and business operations, with the ability to build a strong community atmosphere while driving revenue and operational excellence. Experience Required Preferred Experience 3+ years in hospitality, golf operations, entertainment venue management, or club management Experience with golf simulators, golf instruction facilities, sports entertainment venues, or country clubs preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Sales and marketing experience highly desirable Experience managing teams and customer-facing operations Skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Customer-service oriented personality Comfortable with technology and scheduling systems Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events Passion for golf and hospitality culture Essential Responsibilities Operations & Facility Management Oversee daily operations of the golf simulator facility Ensure simulator bays, technology, bar/lounge areas, and customer spaces remain clean and fully operational Coordinate maintenance and vendor relationships Manage scheduling software, memberships, and booking systems Membership & Sales Growth Develop and grow membership programs Drive simulator bookings, leagues, tournaments, lessons, and special events Build relationships with local golfers, businesses, and community groups Create promotional campaigns and partnerships Customer Experience Deliver exceptional hospitality and member service Create a fun, welcoming, country-club style atmosphere Resolve customer concerns professionally and quickly Build a loyal customer and member base Staffing & Leadership Hire, train, and supervise staff Create schedules and manage payroll hours Lead team meetings and establish performance expectations Foster a positive and accountable work culture Financial & Business Management Monitor budgets, expenses, and profitability Manage inventory and vendor ordering Track membership, revenue trends, and operational KPIs Assist ownership with strategic planning and growth initiatives Events & Programming Organize leagues, tournaments, corporate outings, and social events Coordinate golf instruction programs and special promotions Develop offseason and year-round engagement opportunities Benefits Competitive salary Performance-based bonuses Membership privileges Flexible scheduling opportunities Growth opportunities within an expanding business Golf and entertainment perks Equity ownership potential
