We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Production Manager to lead our belt shop operations, inspire a high-performing team, and help drive continuous improvement. What You'll Do As a Production Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in ensuring our operations run efficiently, safely, and with a focus on customer satisfaction.
You will:
Lead and manage daily belt shop operations, ensuring a productive and positive work environment Oversee fabrication, customization, and installation of conveyor belts based on customer specifications Prioritize and coordinate work orders, including field jobs, projects, and rush orders Drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the team Train and mentor employees on equipment, systems, and best practices Monitor performance metrics and coach team members to achieve department goals Manage inventory and consumable stock to support seamless operations Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards Represent Belt Power professionally at all times, including on-site customer interactions
Requirements:
What You Bring We're looking for a leader who combines technical expertise with strong people skills. 3+ years of conveyor belt or field splicing experience 2+ years managing teams and field operations High school diploma or equivalent Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret precise measurements
Preferred Qualifications:
Forklift certification OSHA 10 certification What Makes You Stand Out A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment A team-first attitude with a focus on safety and quality Work Environment & Physical Demands This role involves working in an active shop and customer job sites, with exposure to machinery and varying noise levels. You should be comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in different positions throughout the day.
