Job Description

Our logistics network is at the heart of this mission, and the McDonough site is critical to enabling that journey for our customers. We are seeking a bold, entrepreneurial leader to serve as Site Director, responsible for running our McDonough site and two home delivery sites as well. This is a unique opportunity to impact Wayfair's customer experience, to influence cross-site operations, and set the benchmark for excellence in our global network. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on Wayfair's customer promise. What You'll Do In this role, you will serve as Site Director with responsibility for multiple sites , accountable for performance, people, and process excellence across all teams. Run Building Operations Ensure these sites become a benchmark for quality, efficiency, and associate engagement in the global network. Ensure consistency in processes, culture, and engagement while ensuring flawless execution. Build, coach, and inspire a large team of managers, supervisors and team leaders to deliver outstanding results in safety, quality, cost, and customer experience. Serve as an escalation point and support the leadership team in driving improvements and maintaining excellence. Strategic Roadmap & Cross-Functional Collaborations Develop and maintain the sites' roadmaps aligned to broader Supply Chain strategy, guided by your manager. Be responsible for delivering on STO/FRM commitments. Collaborate cross-functionally with Talent, Safety, Facilities & Maintenance, Tech, Performance Analytics, Transportation, and external vendors to prioritize and execute network-wide projects. Represent your sites in senior leadership discussions, influencing decisions that impact sites. Remote & Cross-Time Zone Leadership Lead teams and partners across different time zones, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and engagement despite distance. Balance frequent travel with strong remote leadership practices to maintain accountability and connection. What You'll Bring Experience 10+ years of progressive leadership in large-scale operations, ideally in e-commerce, consumer products, or logistics. 7+ years managing large teams and senior leaders, with proven success in site leadership, change management, and operational turnaround. Specifically, leading, driving step change and continuous improvement in front-line operations. Leadership & Skills Lead front-line operations including labor planning, change management and continuous improvement.
