Job Description
Basic Scope / Purpose The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing warehouse and fulfillment operations at their assigned site, ensuring alignment with Staci Americas standards. This role drives operational performance, client satisfaction, and financial results by ensuring consistent execution, strong leadership, and alignment with company standards. This position partners closely with Client Success, Transportation, HR, and Finance to deliver scalable, efficient, and high-quality logistics solutions across a diverse client portfolio. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Execution Lead daily warehouse and fulfillment operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control Ensure consistent execution of operational processes across all shifts and departments Drive productivity, accuracy, and service level performance (SLA adherence) Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks impacting throughput and client service Client & Service Performance Own service performance across assigned client accounts, including B2B and e-commerce operations Partner with Client Success teams to ensure alignment on service expectations and issue resolution Participating in client calls, escalations, and business reviews as needed Ensure timely communication of delays, shortages, or service risks People Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop a team of Operations Managers, Supervisors, and frontline associates Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement Partner with HR on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning Ensure proper staffing levels through collaboration with staffing agencies and internal recruitment Financial Performance & Cost Control Own labor planning, budgeting, and cost control across the operation Monitor labor-to-hour (LTH), overtime, and productivity metrics Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service levels Partner with Finance and Payroll to ensure accurate reporting and cost tracking Process Improvement & Compliance Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety Ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies, and regulatory requirements Support audit readiness and corrective action plans Standardizing processes across operations to improve consistency and scalability Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Transportation, Client Success, IT/TMS, HR, and Finance teams Support client implementations, transitions, and new business onboarding Align operational execution with company strategy and network standards Qualifications Required 7+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or 3PL environments Proven leadership experience managing managers and supervisors Strong understanding of fulfillment operations (B2B and/or e-commerce) Experience with labor planning, KPIs, and cost management Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Work Environment
